Teachers become guides in the construction of the activities to be performed by the learners and assist them as the learners complete the assigned tasks. In other words, rather than directly participating in the learners' construction of the language, the teacher interacts with them primarily to alleviate their difficulties in using the target language as they use it to interact with the computer.
